Since our inception in 2010, Aperture Media has become a specialist in delivering high-quality creative video and animation content for television, corporate, advertising, medical, sports & education sector clients. Based in Cork, our service outreach stretches throughout Ireland, abroad to the UK, Europe as well as the USA.
Our specialty is visual storytelling. Being able to tell a cohesive story no matter the subject. Delivering a strong, well-structured story is what we pride ourselves on. Meet The Team
Daniel Fleming
Managing Director & Producer
Having started out working on RTE’s You’re A Star show, Daniel has gained over 20 years experience working in the Television Production industry. He moved on to become camera operator on tv shows such as No Frontiers, Celebrity Bainisteoir, Room to Improve & Don’t Tell the Bride and filming tv ads for Tesco, Vodafone, Heineken & Oral-B. Daniel has a B.Sc (Hons) in Management Practice from Ulster University and now Daniel is focusing on producing and growing Aperture Media.
Jordan Murshed
Creative Video Director
A 2017 graduate from The National Film School at IADT, Dun Laoghaire; Jordan brings a poetic flare that can be seen in some of our latest work. Receiving a BA in Screenwriting, Jordan started with Aperture Media in February of 2018 as an assistant video editor & post sound mixer. During this time Jordan shifted his role into our creative department, utilizing his creative conception and
writing skills and in 2019 has been promoted to Creative Video Director.
Elaine Lucey
Senior Video Editor & Colourist
Elaine joined the Aperture team in 2015 having graduated from IT Tralee with a Degree in Interactive Multimedia. Her passion is editing and grading any kind of video and film material. She brings an enthusiastic and hardworking mentality to work and believes strongly in the ‘if you’re going to do it, do it right’ mantra. She likes continually ‘upping her game’, constantly learning new techniques in order to deliver the highest quality product
Niamh Burke
Accounts
Niamh runs our Accounts Department. Having worked with banking for numerous years, Niamh joined Aperture Media in 2017 and is the first Mum we have had the pleasure of working with. She looks after us and passes on Motherly advice that everyone needs every once in awhile.
THOMAS HEISING
2D & 3D Animator
Thomas is our 2D and 3D animation and motion graphics wizard. He has designed and animated a range of content from sleek text elements to erupting volcanoes. In his native Denmark, he graduated in Geology and African Studies which proved helpful in our science communication projects. In his free time, he works with community development.
Rachel Dunleavy
Junior Editor
Rachel completed her 3rd-year college work placement with Aperture Media in 2018 while attending Limerick Institute of Technology to study Creative Multimedia. After receiving a BA in Creative Multimedia she officially joined the Aperture team in October 2020 as a junior editor. She is passionate about editing and loves incorporating motion graphics and soundscapes into the work that she produces. She enjoys the fast pace of the editing world and is driven by the opportunities to constantly improve as an editor and bring stories to life.
